UNSW Startup Games is an annual program for UNSW students facilitated by successful serial entrepreneur Bart Jellema - founder of Tjoos and Zeromail.
Students are led through a series of drills, games and experiences to bring their ideas to life for the future. Selected current UNSW students from all faculties and degree stages take part in a 6 day workshop where they form teams from scratch, start their own venture and then pitch to real investors in a final competition.
Workshops cover topics such as idea formation and validation, sales & marketing, pitching, business plans, startup equity, outsourcing, legal & financial management and more.
In 2014, UNSW Startup Games participants received free use of office space at ATP Innovations, Australia's leading technology incubator, as well as prizes worth over $22,000 from Google, Castaway Forecast and Elance.
Eligibility: All current UNSW students
Application details: The event runs once a year in the first semester. Please contact us for program dates and application details.
